Best way to see the real Dominican

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our cycling adventure tour. Our guides, Robert and Joaquin were knowledgeable, friendly and fun. We saw more of the back roads and learned more about the culture in 3 hours with them than in any if our previous trips to the DR. The trails were adventurous but amazing. The bikes were in great condition. This is not your granny’s bike tour. If you like to cycle off road and see the real sights this is for you. Highly recommend this!!

Totally worth it and so fun! Robert and Jose are great hosts!

Robert and Jose were wonderful hosts on this adventure! Jose took great action shots of us at various points on the ride, and Robert was very personable and knowledgeable while guiding us through the town, the countryside, on dirt and rocks, through puddles, and up and down hills. I loved that we stopped at a local farm to see how coffee and cacao beans are harvested and processed.

I was also stoked to meet the farmer, Elias, and see his house and buy some coffee directly from him. It smells so good and I don't even like coffee. The trip was really fun, and was a great way to see how locals in Macao live. It was cool to end the tour at Macao Beach which was on our list of places to check out. Cule Bike offers a morning 3 hour tour, and an afternoon 3 hour tour, so I highly recommend experiencing this if you are ever in the Punta Cana area and have time to do so.

A Punta Cana must do!!!

We did the 20km MTB ride and had a blast!! Dirt roads, mud puddles, river crossings, local villages and beautiful scenery. All hosted by awesome guides Robert and Juan. Highly recommended to anyone not just bike riders.

I'm an avid cyclist and 20 km was easy but I still thoroughly enjoyed it and they even had an ebike for my wife so it was easy for her too. We stopped at local markets and tasted fresh cherry and tamarind juice. Sooo good. They even take pics and email them to you for free. Get out there and see the real Dominican Republic. You won't regret it.

Great little way to get outside the resorts

I was going a bit stir crazy at a Punta Cana resort (that's a slight on me, not the resort, which was great) and I love to bike ride so glad I found this little getaway. Exactly as described, they pick you up at your hotel, drive about 20 mins and off you go through some of the local farms and pueblos (towns) and over a mix of on- and off-road sections and a few short hill sections to get your heartrate up a bit.

They'll stop here and there for little breaks and point out some of the sights (coffee trees, cows grazing, fruit trees, schools, local hangouts, etc.). They'll also take some free photos of you as you ride through the lush area. (They'll email your photos to you within a day or two.)

Really nice to get some outdoor exercise and a small sense of how the locals live. I was lucky that I was the only one that morning so Robert and I could ride a little faster and I could practice my Spanish a bit.

The bike is basic (no suspension and department store level drivetrain but the large tires makes it a "monster truck" for the off-road sections (expect some mud and puddles). The guides are very friendly and will ensure that you are safe and have a good time. You finish at a pretty public beach.

Depending on how fast you ride and how long you linger at the rest stops and beach, you'll likely be back at your hotel approximately 2.5 hours after leaving it.

Definitely recommend for a morning activity!

Amazing Bike Ride!!!

All I can say is just WOW, this was the highlight of my trip to Punta Cana. They made me feel welcome to their country and told me lots of interesting facts and details about the history and culture. The bike ride was challenging and that is exactly what I wanted, we biked the beach, did some hard paths and even some more rougher paths as well so I got to do it all.

Now I cant wait to come back to Punta Cana so I can do this again. I would recommend them to anyone that is interested in doing some biking in Punta Cana.

Great ride through the countryside

Had a great 30k ride through the beautiful countryside, through small villages, and finishing at Macao beach. Some minimally rough terrain but our bikes were equipped with electric assist so even non-bikers should find it easy to power through mud pools and up the few hills, and could do the entire distance without pedalling a stroke.

Guides were super personable and very informative - learned about flora, fauna, animal husbandry, coffee, cultural beliefs, local history, geography, politics, etc. The guides even emailed us photos taken free of charge
