Arrive at Higüey after a short ride with our air conditioned van and listen to a short safety briefing and introduction to the Electric bike use, before strapping on your helmet and setting off to experience one of the most enjoyable city tours around Punta Cana.
The abundance of trails and the variety of terrain make this trip a very interesting and adventurous tour for beginners and experienced mountain bikers.
The contrast between city and country life, can be experienced here in Higüey up close like nowhere else, as we take you for a ride to the city's most famous monument, the Basilica.
Pass through rural villages to ride off on hidden trails and tracks through farm and cattle land.
You gain deep insights of local life, stopping to take a break at a small countryside shop, where you meet the owners that serve you a refreshing lemonade and snacks.
We will take you to another great historical site, which just recently has been rediscovered, the ruins of an old sugar cane mill where your very knowledgeable and informative guide will have some interesting stories and facts to tell.
Follow your professional guide on a 12-mile (20km) route, stopping to take pictures or sample local delicacies. Integrated electrical motor on each bike allow the less experienced guests to ride along with ease.

Great morning ride!
We were picked up promptly at our hotel, short drive to our starting point and we were off. I used the fat tire ebike and my husband, the cyclist, didn't turn his power assist on. The guide and driver were both excellent, adjusting the bikes to suit us. Our driver would meet us occasionally with snacks and water.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about Dominican Republic history and local life in the small villages we rode through. We saw many birds found only here on Hispaniola. There were some tough spots with rocks and mud but we made it. Had to cross a small river that was slightly flooded so we walked across. A fun morning!

Bike rental
We rented a bike for the week. We were very happy with the speed of replies to our emails, very quick efficient service and condition of the bike and the very good price for the week. Certainly would recommend it to anyone in the area. Great way to see the countryside and mingle with the locals. Gracias!

Perfect rental services combined with superb excursion
My first idea was to just rent a bike, but their page and services offers also a guided trip. They are perfectly available an reachable even by mail only. I was really surprised how easy it was to get things arranged even just one day in advance. Do not hesitate to contact them by their page you will get a super fast response.

Really good up to date bikes. No worries here.
The excursion itself:
We did the hilly country level 2 trip. There were quite steep short little climbs, which let your blood pumping :) Elevation gain was around 550m for the 23km. We got picked up instead of riding the full round. It was fine for me, cuz my hip started to hurt. Please take in mind, if it did rain 1-2 days before, expect some really muddy parts. So you gonna be dirty for 100 percent :) In our case that a fun factor!
Guidance was perfect. A lot of information about everything :) and that all in very good English.
We have had a really nice time chatting, riding, exploring and meeting real Dominican country life.
Payment by card isn't an issue as well.
I can FULLY RECOMMEND all their services!
